Rules and Guidelines:
We’d like YOU to design a Christmas card. All entries must be in by December 15 (or earlier)
and voting will begin the same date. Some rules and guidelines:
- Materials: BE creative, use whatever you want to make your card
- Theme: We’d like you to incorporate or use Solomon Academy colors in your
design – Blue, Light Green/Lime, and Orange
- Only one entry per person
- We can provide you with a card stock for your card
- Entries due: December 15, 2008

Colleen has recieved the most votes for her pumpkin carving (Pumpkin #1 - Champlain Centre).
All participants will recieve a prize, so participants please come and speak to your
Centre Director. Thank for all those who entered, voted, and participated in this
successful contest!

Pumpkin Carving Contest - Submit and Begin Voting on

It’s less than a month until Halloween! This Halloween we’ve decided to hold a student
pumpkin carving contest. Students will be able to carve a pumpkin at home and
drop it off at the centre to enter to win a pair of movie tickets! There will also
be second and third runner up prizes. Not only will you be entering the contest, but you’ll
help to decorate our centre with your pumpkin! Pumpkins should be in by October 24th
which gives us a week for student votes. Late pumpkins will still allowed (but you may lose
out on some votes). Our winners will be announced on our website.
